Marlene M. Dickman, 67, of Finefrock Road, Fremont, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at her home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Fremont, to Garrett H. and Carrie M. (Hetrick) Strayer. She married Gordon J. Dickman on May 12, 1972, in Sandusky. She was employed by Eaton Controls as an assembler, retiring in 1991 after 30 years of service. She then worked for Corso's Flower and Garden Center and retired May 31, 2002. Marlene was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved fishing, camping, living on a farm, and enjoyed raising all types of animals. She also enjoyed traveling. She was a 1957 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Gordon J. Dickman; daughters, Cheryl Dickman (John) Fink and Dawn (Rob) Biehler; and sister, Diane (Ray) Wiseman, all of Fremont; and grandchildren, Travis and Taylor Biehler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until services at 11 a.m. at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 State St., Fremont. Pastor Paul Gruetter will officiate. Burial will be at Four Mile House Cemetery in Fremont.
