Edward P. Major, 74, of Huron, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Toledo and was a lifelong resident of the Huron and Norwalk areas. He worked for Maple City Ice, Norwalk, and retired in 1980. He was a U.S Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of AMVETS of Sandusky, the American Legion of Norwalk, Eagles of Norwalk and the Elks of Norwalk.
He is survived by his wife, Paula (Conrad), to whom he was married for 51 years; a daughter, Cherie (Daniel) Thomas of Vermilion; two grandchildren, Chad Rock of Vermilion and Nathan Rock of Huron; and two great-grandchildren, Briana and Joshua Rock.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Lillian (Schroder) Major.
