Dennis P. "Denny" Hook, 64, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2006, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 17, 1942, in Lorain, Ohio, and was a 1960 graduate of Lorain High School. Denny had worked for the Ries Vending Company and later for Corso's Flower and Garden Center for many years. He loved eagles, playing cards, working in his yard and old cars.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nadine R. "De-De" (McKillips) Hook; two brothers, John (Dolly) Hook of Lorain, Norman Hook of Florida; many nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law, Kim (Angie) McKillips of Sandusky and Claude McKillips of Castalia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Hook; and mother, Anna (O'Hara) Rinehimer.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday until services at 11 a.m. in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
