Andrew Peterlin, 85, of Sandusky, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, in Providence Care Center.
He was born July 9, 1921 in Warrenton, Ohio and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by the Erie Ordinance Depot, Uniroyal and the Ohio Veterans Home. He was a life member and past commander of Port Clinton VFW Post 2480, past member of Sandusky Eagles and Port Clinton Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Almina (Fry) Peterlin; daughter, Debra (Dan) Jadwisiak of Marblehead; sons, David Peterlin of San Diego, Calif., Ron (Marva) Peterlin of Elgin, Ill., Andrew (Tammy) Peterlin of Newport, Mich. and Corey (Tracy) Peterlin of Peterburg, Mich.; step children, Candyce Reed of Gahanna, Ohio, Phyllis (Dan) Fage, Kim (Mary) Klinow of Sandusky and Kevin Peterlin; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ida (Randolph) Peterlin; brothers, Henry Dale Peterlin and Joseph Peterlin; stepdaughter, Sandie Makkos; and a grandson.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. Saturday until services at 4 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Philip Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
