Regina M. Todaro, 91, of Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, 2006, in Admiral's Pointe, Huron, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 10, 1915 in Sandusky. She had worked at Voegel's Cake Decorations for 20 years and later was a ticket taker at the Ohio Theatre. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends throughout the years and was an avid bowler, bowling in the local couples and ladies leagues. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was very active in the Italian-American Beneficial Club Ladies Auxiliary, where she had held various offices throughout the years.
She is survived by nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrico and Maria (Conti) Savini; husband, Anthony J. "Tony" Todaro on Nov. 20, 2006; brother, Anthony Savini; and sister, Desolina Guerra.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where a Liturgical Service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday. Prayers will be recited 9:40 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Sandusky.
