Beulah May Winebarger, 83, of Monroeville, passed away early Tuesday morning, Dec. 5, 2006, in Parkvue Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 24, 1923 in Sandy Ridge, Va. She was employed as an assembler with the former Philco Company of Sandusky and with the former Good Samaritan Hospital housekeeping department. Beulah was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sandusky.
Beulah is survived by a daughter, Glenda Schwartz of Kentwood, Mich.; a son, Ted (Suzanne) Winebarger of Monroeville; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn (Paul) McCoy of Ohio and Carol Bond of Virginia; four brothers, Virgil, Fred (Goldie), Raymond, Blaine (Betty) Carty and a sister, Maxie Wright, all of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Winebarger, on Dec. 31, 1979; son, Donnie Winebarger on April 5, 1993; granddaughter, Jenny Lynn Schwartz; grandson, David Roy Sprowl Jr.; her parents, Everett and Loma (Marshall) Carty; and three sisters, Lola Buchanan, Sylvia Nolan and Verni Freeman.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Friday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
