James C. Robbins, 79, of Marblehead, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, in Twilight Gardens in Norwalk.
James was born March 30, 1927, in Keokee, Va., to Ezra and Callie Robbins.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Beulah Robbins, whom he married July 15, 1967, and she survives. In addition to his wife, James is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Frank) Harris of Port Clinton; step children, Sandra (Forrester) Fleenor of Lakeside--Marblehead, Margarette Barnette at home, Doris (Johnny) Holmes of Keokee, Va., Beverly (Claude) Havens of Port Clinton, Rachel Sparks (Doug Carter) of Port Clinton, Marcia St. James (deceased), Norma (Terry) Hess of Port Clitnon, Williard (Joyce) Barnette of Lakeside--Marblehead, Don Carroll of Penn, Priscilla (Charlie) Elswick of Sandusky; son-in-law, James St. Marie of Florida; brothers, William Robbins (deceased), Charles (Faye) Robbins of Keokee, Va., Earl (Francis) Robbins of Jonesville, Va., Ray Robbins (deceased), Harold (Bobby Jo) Robbins of Rogersville, Tenn.; sister, Arizona Barker (deceased); sister-in-law, Bonnie Robbins of Lakeside-Marblehead. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Twilight Gardens for all the loving care shown to James.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside--Marblehead, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township.
