James E. Coble, 82, of Huron, died Saturday evening, Dec. 2, 2006, in Stein Hospice Services, Sandusky.
He was born in Linden, Tenn., and has been a resident of Huron for many years. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Lorain in 1991 after working for 36 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers.
He is survived by two sons, James Edward (Sharon) Coble Jr. of Louisville, Ky. and Donald Lee (Sonja) Coble of Athens, Ohio; a grandchild, Talina Marie Coble; two great-grandchildren, William E.J. Coble and Faith A.M. Peterson; a sister, Frances Qualls and a brother, Frank Horner, both of Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine E. (Cromer) Coble on Nov. 30, 2006; and parents, Jess and Bertha (Curtis) Coble.
Services for his wife and him will be 11 a.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
