Henry Foster "Bugg" Ford Jr., 50, Sandusky, departed this earthly life, Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 8, 1956, in Sandusky and served in the U.S. Army. He also worked at Findley Products for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mittie Ford; daughters, Tashonda (John) Ewing of Killeen, Texas, Shakirra of Columbus, Miss., Karlette and Kajuana, both of Chicago, Ill., Laquita of Joliet, Ill., Jennifer of Saginaw, Mich., Rasheeda, Brittany and twins, Kiera and Siera, all of Sandusky; a son, JaRon Ford of Sandusky; five grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Harris and Lisa (Lynn) Lewis of Sandusky; brothers, Andre Harris and Ezekiel Ford of Sandusky; uncle, Major Ruffin of Sandusky; special nieces, Latisha (Shay) and Aeisha Harris, both of Sandusky; several other nieces, nephews and relatives; and a dear and close friend, Angela Woodley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry F. Ford Sr. and Sally Ford; brother, Kenneth E. Ford Sr.; sister, Cookie Ford; daughter in infancy; and a special aunt, Sadie B. Jones.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Going Home service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Shelby St., Sandusky. The Rev. Eddy Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Family is receiving friends at 1225 Ashburn Drive, Sandusky.
