Christopher Galloway, 43, Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at his home.
Chris was born Aug. 13, 1966, in Sandusky to Dennis and Sally (Brady) Galloway. He graduated from St. Mary Central Catholic High School in 1984 and was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. He worked for UPS for 19 years until being disabled due to a work related injury. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard.
Chris loved his family, friends, his Catholic faith and all sports, but he especially loved his son.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Connor C. Galloway; his son's mother, Veronica (Wechter) Galloway; his brother, Kyle (Jenn) Galloway; his sisters, Colleen (Bret) Ninke and Kathrin Galloway; niece, Kylee Galloway; nephews, Patrick Galloway, Collin, Jeremy and Josh Ninke; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Agnes Brady, and Ashley and Frances Galloway; aunts, Marianne Barry and Rose Brady; uncle, Jake Gelvin; and cousin, Scott Brady.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. Friday until services at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Commons. The Rev. Phil Feltman will celebrate a Mass of Resurrection. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
