Larry G. Bullard, 68, of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family, after a long illness.
He was born Feb. 25, 1942 in Valley Fork, W.Va., son of the late Harley and Ona (Hunt) Bullard.
He retired from Armstrong Division of Lennox Corporation following 38 years of service. Larry was a member of Bellevue FOE 490.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Diana (King) Bullard, whom he married March 2, 1968, in Left Hand, W.Va.; children, John (Laura) Bullard of Rosedale, W.Va., Lora (Dan) Patterson of Athens, Ohio, and Kimberly (Michael Sr.) Lewallen of Huron; grandchildren, Harley and Trisha Bullard, Joshua, Leah, Dalton and Kyah Patterson, Michael Jr., and Nicholas and Kaylee Lewallen; siblings N. Macel Paxton of Huntsville, Ala., V. Olive Hamrick of Whitesville,
W.Va., Mona Haid of Elkview, W.Va., and Rosemary Beckett of Clyde; many nieces,
nephews and extended family and friends; and his loving dog, spike.
In addition to his parents, his mother-in-law, Dortha Waggoner; brothers, Coy Dennis Bullard and Russell Richard Bullard; brothers-in-law, Loy R. Beckett, Carl M. Hamrick, David Paxton, Donald E. Johnson and David L. Johnson; and his sister-in-law, Bonnie M. Bullard preceded him in death.
Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Monday at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where a funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
