Virginia I. (Butler) Lutes, 94, of Sandusky passed away Monday, April 26, 2010, in Providence Center after a long illness.
She was born May 22, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo. Mrs. Lutes belonged to the I.A.B. Club, American Legion and the Orioles, all of Sandusky. Virginia's hobbies included crocheting, needlepoint and playing cards. She loved birds and her favorite color was pink.
Mrs. Lutes is survived by her sister, Frances Gerhardy of Southgate, Mich.; niece, Susan Woonton of Warren, Mich.; nephew, James O. Miller of Sandusky; and several additional nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur J. Lutes, in 1983; parents, David Henry and Fern (Metz) Butler; and her brother, Robert Henry Butler, in 1999.
There will be no visitation. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
