Renald L. Frechette, 85, of Perrysburg, Ohio, and formerly of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010.
Renald was born in Biddeford, Maine, June 7, 1924, son of the late John and Albertine Frechette. He married Rita Roussin, June 9, 1945. He worked many years as a warehouse traffic manager. Sports were a big part of his life, playing semi-pro hockey in his younger years followed by many years enjoying golf and bowling.
He is survived by Rita, his loving wife of 65 years; daughters, Suzanne (Mike) Phillips, Diane (Ken) White, Claire (Randy) Climo and Jeanne (Doug) Armstrong; grandsons, Ryan (Laurel) Climo, Deke White and Jamie (Megan) White; great-grandsons, Reese and Cole Climo and Tristan White; sisters, Mariette Debaugh and Gabrielle Tardiff; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew and Ralph.
A special thank you goes out to the staff at The Manor at Perrysburg for their thoughtful care and many kindnesses.
The family will honor Renald in a private service. He will be remembered as a devoted husband to Rita and a wonderful father to his four daughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
