Kenneth Nims, 83, of Sandusky, took the hand of Jesus Wednesday evening, April 14, 2010, and entered into Glory.
He was born June 24,1926, in Sandusky. He retired from General Motors after 46 years of service.
He is survived by his two sons, Danny (Pam) Nims of Sandusky and William (Karen) Nims of Clyde; two daughters, Sarah Nims of Napoleon and Amy (Joseph) Wilson of Sandusky; 12 grandchildren, Jason Nims, Joshua (Alisha) Nims, Rebekah Nims, Patric Nims, Amanda (Chad) Fay, Nicholas Nims, Amber Nims, Tanner Wilson, Titus Wilson, Peyton Wilson, and Michael Nims and Jennifer Nims, the children of his deceased son, David Nims, and Tara Nims, Kelly Bryant, Jeremiah Nims and Seth Nims, children of his deceased son, Richard; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna (Febbo) Nims, in 1966; two sons, Richard Nims in 1986 and David Nims in 2009; and his second wife, Beverly (Skaggs) Nims, in 2008.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., where his Homecoming celebration service will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the family.
