Mary F. (Lombardo) Levine, 97, of Sandusky died April 15, 2010, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born Feb. 7, 1913, in Sandusky. She was employed by the former Philco Corp. in Sandusky. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky, I.A.B. Women's Auxiliary and Daughters of Isabella Circle 285. She was a volunteer worker for many years. Her hobbies included baking, reading, crocheting, playing pinochle and watching the Cleveland Indians.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Beverly Matthews of Sandusky; sons, Nicholas (Bonnie) Levine of Sandusky, Gary (Margaret) Levine of Northville, Mich., and Eugene (Carol) Levine of Dublin, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and her sister, Minnie Montgomery of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas L. Levine, Oct. 21, 1975; parents, Joseph and Rose (Colao) Lombardo; two sisters, Catherine and Susie; and two brothers, Frank and Orlando.
Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Prayer services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where the Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Entombment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
