Charles H. Case, 53, of Norwalk died suddenly Saturday, April 10, 2010, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo following a motor vehicle accident in Norwalk.
He was born June 26, 1956 in Lorain, son of the late Charlie and Oleta Case. Charles enjoyed playing golf with his brothers, camping, bluegrass festivals, traveling with his nephew, Jamie, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Lester and Charles "Chuck" Case, both of Norwalk; stepchildren, Michelle Wright, Gerald (Cindy) Wright, Mike Wright and Mark (Jamie) Wright; five grandchildren, Justin (with whom he lived), Marissa, Carlee, Ashley and Cieran; brothers, Ron (Karen) Blankenship of Norwalk and Joe (Lynn) Case of Milan; sisters, Mary Lou Case, Sharon K. (Jim) Brant and Janet (Earl) Castle, all of Norwalk, and Marlene (Darrell) Boldman of Columbus; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Carol Kniple.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Viola (Smith) Case in 2005; and parents, Charlie, in 1976, and Oleta, in 1998.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home; pastors Frank White and Ken Conley will officiate. Private interment will be observed at a later date.
