Diane Osborn, 66, of Milan died early Saturday afternoon, April 10, 2010, in University Hospitals, Cleveland, following a brief illness.
She was born July 6, 1943, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Harry and Hilda (Path) Jenkins. Diane was employed by Ohio Veterans Home as a nurses aide for the last 16 years. She was a member of Norwalk Eagles and Norwalk VFW.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, working in her yard and, most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her children, Tracie L. Osborn and Melvin Lee (Phyllis) Osborn of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Derek, Kayla and Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Makynna and Addisyn; her twin sisters, Lou (Bob) Romell, and Sue Case of Milan; her twin brother, David (Eleanor) Jenkins of Milan; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Osborn in 2008; her parents; and one brother, Gary Paul Jenkins.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Groff Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St., Milan, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Joe Woodyard will officiate. Burial will be in Milan Cemetery.
