Mildred A. Hartman, 89, of Sandusky passed away early Thursday morning, April 1, 2010, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
Born Nov. 19, 1920, in Sandusky to George and Adelaide (Schoepfle) Gundlach, she was a graduate of Sandusky High School. She retired from Deco Products, formerly A. H. Vogel Co., after many years of employment.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Bakewell and Jacque (Richard) Wechter, both of Sandusky; three stepsons, Paul (Gloria) Hartman Jr. of Clermont, Fla., Michael (Cindy) Hartman of Avon, Ind., and David (Danielle) Hartman of Sandusky; two stepdaughters, Linda (Doug) Sheffer of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Gloria (Richard Jr.) Andres of Sandusky; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hartman Sr.; daughter, Jerilyn Alderman; and sister, Marian Hoffman.
At the request of the family all services will be private. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
