Stanley Swain Jr., 77, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of Sandusky died Saturday, March 27, 2010, in Florida Hospital, Orlando.
He was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was employed by J.H. Routh Packing Co., and Sandusky Dressed Beef as a meat cutter.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Mary Swain of Orlando; stepdaughters, Martina Patrick of Sandusky and Jane Godsey of Kingsport, Tenn.; stepson, Marion Peters of Gate City, Va.; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Brumfield; brothers, Roy Swain, Bill Swain and Larry Swain; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jeanette Swain; sons, Robert Swain and Kenny Swain; stepson, Lawrence H. Peters; grandson, Kenny Swain Jr.; parents, Stanley and Nellie Pearl (Beaver) Swain Sr.; and sisters, Mageline Olaker and Frieda Fern Swain, in infancy.
Friends may call from noon Thursday until funeral services at 1 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
