Victoria J. "Vicky" Kirkpatrick, 93, of Bradenton, Fla., and formerly Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 24, 2010, at Bradenton Oaks in Bradenton after a brief illness.
She was born in Sandusky, Jan. 7, 1917, and attended Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School. Vicky was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister, Anita A. Magi; brother, Aldo P. Magi of Sandusky; her loving niece, Linda Luciani of Parish, Fla.; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 51 years, Delbert G. Kirkpatrick, who passed away July 10, 1992; her parents, Antonio and Adele (Adavini) Magi; four sisters, Rose (Frank) Marketti, Ann (William) Lorenz, Lucille (Mike) Palazzo, and America "Bella" Magi; and three brothers, Henry Magi, Louis (Josephine) Magi and Salvador "Toby" (Frances) Magi.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Prayers will be recited at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, the Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sandusky.
