Neill Charville, 76, of Milan passed away Wednesday morning, March 24, 2010, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1933, in Norwalk, son of the late Florence (Williams) and Howard Charville.
Neill worked for Norwalk Truck Lines for 29 years and Yellow Freight for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan, Norwalk Eagles and Norwalk Moose. Neill loved traveling and playing cards. Always at his side was his faithful companion, Lucky.
Neill is survived by his sister, Reichelt of Willoughby Hills, Ohio; brother, Paul Charville of Norwalk; brother-in-law, David McKinnon of Milan; sisters-in-law, Judy (Ron) Schoneggee and Phyllis Sanders, both of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Mary Charville, Nov. 28, 2003; infant son and daughter; parents; and brother, Leon Charville.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday in Groff Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St. Milan. Prayer services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Milan. The Rev. Frank Speier will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
