Shirley Dean Baker Sternaman Sundahl, 85, of Sandusky died Monday, March 15, 2010, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Young, and her son, Stephen Sundahl, both of Sandusky; six special grandchildren, Denise (Acre) and John Robinson of Collins, Julie (Acre) and Dirk Fuller of Muskegon, Mich., Erick and Brooke Acre of Clinton Township, Mich., Jon Sundahl of Sandusky, Stephen Sundahl of Fairmont, W.Va., and Leonard and Casey Sundahl of New Creek, W.Va. She is also survived by some "very special, one of a kind" great-grandchildren (as she called them), who will sadly miss their "ole Nana", Blake and Andrew Robinson, Gabriel, Ethan and Eli Fuller, Adeline, Ava and Glenn Acre, and Vincent Sundahl. Shirley is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, J. Julian and Eunice Baker of Tarpon Springs, Fla.,; and very special nieces who always kept her close in prayer and their hearts, Brenda and John Richardson, Marcia and Todd Bates and Deanna and David Koehler.
There will be no local calling hours or services. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until services at 10:30 a.m. in First Congregational Church, 5449 Clarkston Road, Clarkston, Mich. Interment will be in Ottawa Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Mich.
