Irene Martha Ott, 78, of Clyde died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Ott was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Fremont, daughter of the late Albert and Frances (Darr) Fisher. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Fremont.
Irene loved to work outdoors and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had worked at several places, Quik Cut and Lawson's, and she catered with her sister.
On Nov. 4, 1950, she married Donald L. Ott, and he survives as do their children, Martha "Marty" Black, Fremont; Donald Jr. "Butch" (Cindy) Ott and Robert E. Ott, all of Clyde; Pamela S. (Thomas) Lamb of Green Springs and Patricia L. Alafita of Clyde; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, one stepgrandchild; three sisters, Helen Arnold, Bernice Haubert and Viola Mehling, all of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild; and by siblings, Leo Fisher, Clayton Fisher, Luella Fisher and Marian Dumminger.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde, where funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dennis Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
