Donald C. Schufelt, 93, of Amherst and a former resident of Sandusky, died Monday, March 8, 2010, in Amherst Manor.
Donald resided in Sandusky for 55 years until moving to Florida in 1994. In 1979 he retired from Sycamore School, Sandusky, where he worked as a custodian and boilerman. While living in Sandusky he was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Katherine E. (Ruh); son, Terry (Carmen) Schufelt of California; daughter, Nora R. (Roy) Feltner of Lorain; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald T. Schufelt (1964); and his parents, Carl D. and Olive (Sager) Schufelt.
There will be no visitation or service. Private family interment will take place in Oaklawn Cemetery, Sandusky.
