Nancy C. Mardosa, 69, of Catawba Island passed from this life March 13, 2010.
Born in Lewiston, Maine, Sept. 4, 1940, she was the daughter of Frank and Claire (Foss) Cram. Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston High School, where she excelled in vocal music performance. Upon graduation she attended Newton-Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing in Newton, Mass.
Nancy worked as a Realtor for Bolte Real Estate and as a paramedic examiner for insurance companies. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends at the Catawba Island Club and spoiling her grandchildren. She and her husband were blessed with 43 years of marriage and three children.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John; daughter, Debbie (Joe) Drago of Perrysburg; son, Marc Mardosa of Port Clinton; and two grandchildren, Marisa and Dominic Drago. Also surviving are her four brothers, Robert (Marion) Cram of Mashpee, Mass., Gary (Sharon) Cram of Wilmington, N.C., Brian (Nancy) Cram of Wake Forest, N.C., and Bill (Claire) Cram of Preston, Conn.; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott Mardosa; and her parents.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday in Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity United Methodist Church, 135 Adams St., Port Clinton, with the Rev. Bruce Batchelor-Glader officiating. Private burial will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
