David Lee Coffman, 61, of Sandusky died Monday, March 8, 2010, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 12, 1948, in Sandusky and was a self-employed contractor.
David loved horses and training them. Fishing, hunting, trapping and everything outdoors made him happy.
He is survived by his mother, SeDora (Grodi) Cattano of Sandusky; brothers, Corby (Deb) Blanton of Woodville, Ohio, and Ron Warneck of Huron; nieces and nephews, Rhonda Warneck, Jeff Warneck, Misty Inman, Jeremy Blanton and Jennifer Leonard; great-nieces and nephews, Jeremy Wiedle, Rachel Warneck, Shelby Warneck, Jeffrey Warneck II, Nathan Inman and Courtney Inman; aunts, Minnie Cummins and Jane Grodi; and several cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Coffman; and grandparents, Paul and Hazel Streng and Charles J. Grodi.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. His brother, Corby Blanton, will officiate.
