Brian T. Collier, 41, of Clyde passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born April 16, 1968, in Bellevue, son of Larry G. Collier and Becky (Crabtree) Nestor. Brian attended Bellevue High School and was a member of the U.S. Army from May 1, 1985, until Nov. 1, 1988, serving in Korea. He was employed as a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician. He loved outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, camping and four-wheel riding. Brian was always available to help others and especially enjoyed time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy (Spencer) Collier, whom he married Sept. 20, 1997, in Clyde; two sons, Branden Simon and Ryan Collier; a daughter, Brooke Simon; a sister, Traci (Mike) McMurray; his stepmother, Kathy Richmond; his father, Larry G. Collier; mother, Becky Nestor; and a grandson, Dominick Simon.
A memorial funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, with the Rev. Jon Shepherd, pastor of Providence Baptist Church, Bellevue, officiating. A dinner will follow at the church, 6994 Gardner Road, Bellevue.
