Lois Elizabeth Sidney, 60, affectionately known as “Lo Lo and Slim,” departed this life, Feb. 12, 2007, in Toledo Hospital.
She was born June 9, 1946, in Port Clinton, to Ada Mae (Greenlee) Johnson-Cason and James Sidney Jr. Lois graduated from Port Clinton High School and later relocated to Toledo. She also graduated from Davis Business College and earned a degree in business and later worked as a key punch operator at NFO Research Center in Rossford, Ohio. While fighting for her life she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Lois loved to live life to its fullest and loved her family and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her father, James Sidney Jr.; and brother, James Earle Sidney Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Ada Mae Johnson-Cason of Port Clinton; daughter, Ina Shyree Sidney, grandson, Demarko F. Huntley Jr., and companion, Thomas Campbell “Tee”, all of Toledo; sisters, Betty L. Sidney-Robinson-Delagrange, Sandra (Randy) Sidney-Bartley and Emily Joy (Lorenzo) Sherrod, all of Port Clinton, and Beatrice Faye (John) Cantrell of Mansfield, Ohio; brothers, Weston (Mosie Nesbitt) Johnson Jr. and Jimmy Jackson, both of Port Clinton, James Sidney III of Cleveland, and Robert James of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.
A wake service will be from noon Saturday until services at 1 p.m. in House of Day Funeral Service Chapel, Toledo.
