Naomi R. Klein, 84, of Fremont, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, in Stein Hospice Unit in Sandusky.
She was born April 29, 1922, in Cleveland, to Alfred and Eleanor (Lipkowski) McCaskey. She married, Jacob J. Klein Jr., in Lodi, Ohio, and he preceded her in August 1991. Naomi was a homemaker who worked in an airplane plant in Cleveland during World War II, as a Rosie the Riveter. She also worked for Fannie Farmers in Norwalk. She was a foster parent for many years and was very devoted to her husband. She loved garage sales, shopping and crocheting.
Naomi is survived by her daughters, Darlene (Alan) Lasch of Fremont and Jane Ring of Sandusky; grandchildren, Heather Schuh, Sarah Fearing and Leah Lasch; great-grandchildren, Conner O'Malley, Dalton Schuh, Hunter Schuh, Jacob Fearing and Dennis Lash-Rewoldt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jacob J. Klein Jr.
There will be private graveside services in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home and Crematory.
