Mildred Mary Kluding, 80, of McLoud, Okla., died Sunday evening, Feb. 18, 2007, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Monroeville, to Bernard and Cecelia Rose (Lawrence) Kluding. She was a former member of St. Paul’s and St. Mary’s Catholic churches in Norwalk and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Meeker, Okla. She lived in Norwalk most of her life, moving to Oklahoma in 2005. She worked for General Motors in Sandusky for 33 years, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald of Shawnee, Okla., and Jon Bernard of Bowling Green, Ohio; a daughter Jody Kordeleski of Vermilion; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter, Ralph, Paul and Raymond Kluding; sisters, Alma Loesser, Alice Kendall and Regina Farnwalt; and one great-grandson.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk, where a wake service will be at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Dave Cirata, associate pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Norwalk.
