Arthur Wright, 59, of Berlin Heights, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, in St. Francis Health Care Centre in Green Springs.
He was born on Dec. 8, 1947, in Norwalk and has lived in the area his whole life. He was the son of Emma Wright, who owned the Wright Home for Retarded Children. He was a truck driver for many different companies throughout his life and also had a Snap-On Tool Franchise. He was a former member of Huron Eagles and a former member of the Berlin Township Fire Department.
He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Jodi and Christine; four grandchildren, Ashley, Raleigh, Chase and Alexander; a sister, Elizabeth Wright of Chicago; a half sister, Dorothy Daniels of Berlin Heights; a half brother, Harold Wright of Huron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Emma Wright; and two half brothers, Stanley “Leroy” Wright and Richard Wright.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Berlin Heights.
