Margaret Lucille Taylor, 91, of Sandusky, died Thursday evening, Dec. 28, 2006, at her home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Maywood, Ill., and graduated from Central High School in Newark, N.J. Mrs. Taylor retired from Prudential Insurance Company in 1980 after 45 years of service. She was a member of the IAB, Sandusky Yacht Club, Huron Yacht Club and Dendarah Court No. 10 LOSNA, Toledo. Mrs. Taylor was an avid world traveler, having 5 full passports and 2 partially. She enjoyed golfing and participated in Jim's Pizza Box Golf League and Thunderbird Ladies Golf League.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by stepdaughter, Joann Taylor Tucker of Sammamish, Wash.; stepson, Frank W. Taylor; stepgranddaughter, Jody Tucker of Redmond, Wash.; nephews, Roger Larson of Manahawkin, N.J., and Doug Larson of Cropwell, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Harry W. Taylor; parents, Charles A. and Elizabeth (Fleming) Larson; and brother, Charles A. Larson Jr.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. Thursday until services at 4 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. The Rev. Doug Lang will officiate. Burial will be at 11 a.m. in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Pa.
