Rodney M. Yontz, 33, of Sandusky, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 20, 1973, in Sandusky. He worked for a number of restaurants in Sandusky. He loved working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Yontz of Sandusky; goddaughter, Devon Yontz; sisters, Rhonda (Richard) Leaser of Archibold, Ohio, and Becky Lewis of Sandusky; brothers, Ron (Rhonda) Yontz Jr. and Bob Yontz, both of Sandusky, and Rick (Tracy) Yontz of Castalia; nieces and nephews, Lamar Brown, Richard Yontz Jr., Jaime Lewis, Brittany Leaser, Devon Yontz, Samantha Lewis, Danielle Leaser, Corey Yontz, Drew Yontz and Kayla Leaser; and his dogs, T-Bone and Weasie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Yontz Sr., in 1996; brother-in-law, Jimmy Lewis; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation and services will be private at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. John Mawhirter of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky, will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
