Anita M. Miller, 62, of 3588 Pontiac Section Line Road, Monroeville, died late Saturday evening, Feb. 3, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky after a brief illness.
She was born March 23, 1944, in Norwalk, and was a 1962 graduate of Milan High School. Anita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, where she was formerly a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, and she had volunteered for many years with St. Joseph bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles R. Miller Sr.; two daughters, Bernadette (Russell) Bishop of Monroeville and Veronica (Edward) Wilhelm of Bellevue; five sons, Charles R. (Paula) Jr. of Shiloh, Eric P. (Jennifer) of Willard, Andrew A. (special friend, Jamie Wolfe) of Kansas City, Mo., Joshua A. (special friend: Shelly Canode) of Monroeville and Jacob B. of Monroeville; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Mary Rose (Wagner) Hedrick, and her beloved aunts and uncles.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Lill officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
