Susan Marie (Weilnau) Bottger, 88, formerly of Sandusky, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, in St. Francis Nursing Home, Tiffin, Ohio.
She was born March 25, 1918, in Monroeville, and was a graduate of Vermilion High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Monroeville.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Rose of Columbus; Bonnie (Kevin) Hohler of Tiffin, Ohio; Brenda (Michael) Smith of Johnstown; Betty Evanson of Vermilion; Barbara (Pedro) Garcia of Hurst, Texas and Bobette (Frank) Metz of Sandusky; son, William (Sue) Bottger of Sandusky, 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Bottger in 1973; parents, Edwin and Abby (Laws) Weilnau; brother, Edwin Weilnau; and sons-in-law, Mark Evanson and Wayne Rose.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in funeral home. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
