Michael A Knott, 42, of Wakeman, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, in his home after a short illness.
He was born May 30, 1964 in Amherst and was a lifelong Wakeman resident. He worked as a mechanic for Mullinax Ford in Amherst and had worked at Liberty Ford in Vermilion. He was a member of Florence Township Fire Department.
He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, working around the house and being outside.
Survivors include his son, Michael A. Knott of Amherst; parents, Paul B. and Shirley J. (Ronez) Knott; brother, Gary Knott of Wakeman; sister, Robin Scholl of Wakeman; two nephews; and his estranged wife, Jeanne Knott of Vermilion.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Paul Eaton, pastor of the Henrietta United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
