Catherine H. Baisch, 87, of Norwalk, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 31, 2007, in Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Cleveland, to John A. and Helen J. (Erhard) Hogan, now deceased, and came to the Norwalk area in 1949. She was a 60-year member of St. Paul Catholic Church and was also a member of the Sandusky Yacht Club. She enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time with her family and ballroom dancing.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dennis Vogus of Berlin Heights, Patty and Terry Johns of Dalton, Ohio, and Pam and Robert Woodruff of Dusseldorf, Germany; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Donald J. Hogan of Bradenton, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Baisch, in 1983; her brother, Jack Hogan; and sister, Dorothy Hogan.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
