Pollyanna Julia Timm, 80, of Norwalk, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, in her home, after a brief illness.
She was born July 21, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, in the shadow of West Side Market. She graduated from West Technical High School and Midland Radio School. She worked as a radio operator for Delta Airlines, a fashion model and a certified dietetic technician. She was also employed by Electric Controller & Manufacturing Co. (3D), Hillcrest Hospital Dietary Dept. and the Hearst Corp. (Periodical Publishing).
Pollyanna was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron, the American Association of Dietary Managers and a volunteer at the Sandusky State Theater and Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She loved dance, fashion, music and all the arts.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Timm, whom she married April 20, 1991; her daughters, Polly Skidmore, Wren (Curtis) Eldridge and Gretl (Mark) Yenny; sons, Peter (Phil) Wrabel and Ward (Barbara) Wrabel; eight stepchildren; seven grandchildren; sister, Carol (Richard) Connelly; and brother, Pat (Dorothy) Buzek.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Wrabel, in 1980; and her parents, Joseph P. and Elizabeth J. (Toth) Buzek.
