Paul Edward Kessler, 74, a long-time resident of Willard, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007.
He was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Norwalk, to Ronald F. and Anna K. (Hay) Kessler, now deceased. Mr. Kessler was employed by R.R. Donnelly for 28 years as a production planner. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its 55 Plus Club. He served in the U.S. Army as a corporal during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Willard American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Risner) Kessler, whom he wed July 10, 1954; one son, Ron (Cheryl) Kessler of Willard; three daughters, Paula
(Gerard) Gladieux of Oregon, Ohio, Kristen (Richard) Reinhart of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Virginia (Lee) Dedrick of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jason, Erin, Bret, Amanda, Paul, Eric, Tyler, and Justin; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Secor Funeral Home in Willard. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Paul's Athletic Boosters in Norwalk.
