Edward J. Burdue Jr., 36, of Sandusky, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 23, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 5, 1970, in Sandusky and was a 1989 graduate of Sandusky High School. He loved carpentry and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Beesen) Burdue; father, Edward J. (Anita) Burdue Sr. of Berlin Heights; mother, Linda (Pat) Hurley of California; children, Dirk Liebacher of Sandusky and Edward J. Burdue III, Richard Burdue and Timothy Burdue, all of Mississippi; maternal grandparents, Earl and Shirley Johnston of California; stepchildren, Christofer Butler, Shannon Butler, Kevin Butler and Kyle Butler, all of Sandusky; sisters, Rebecca Hernandez of Mississippi and Amber and Autumn Burdue, both of Berlin Heights; brothers, Michael Leford of Mississippi, Chase Burdue and Chantz Burdue, both of Berlin Heights, Chad Burdue of Sandusky; father and mother-in-law, Randall and Betty Spencer; and aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert J. and Thelma Burdue Sr.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. Saturday until funeral services at 3 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Bishop Ingo Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Peaks Cemetery, Berlin Twp.
