Edna M. (Frey) Leitzke, 92, of Huron, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Huron and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Huron High School. She worked as an inspector for New Departure Hyatt, Sandusky, for 26 years retiring in 1973.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Huron and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 171, Huron, since 1937 and became a lifetime member in 1990. She was a member of Sandusky Elks Lodge and the UAW Local, Sandusky.
Survivors include a niece, Sue (Charles) Cloak of Huron; three nephews, Gary (Sharon) Frey of Madison Twp, Ohio, Robert (Nancy) Frey, of McCormick, S.C., and Ronald Frey of North Canton, Ohio; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Smith "Smitty" Leitzke; her parents, Norman and Anna (Kaufman) Frey; two sisters, Ozelma Wiles and LaVerne Frey; and brother, Carl Frey.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until Eastern Star services at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron. Pastor Raymond Vance will officiate. Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
