Marianne (Smith) Goodwin, 57, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in Buford, Ga.
She was born Dec. 18, 1949. She was a 1969 graduate of Sandusky High School. Marianne began to model in New York in 1970. She also was an administrative assistant at the 'Daily News' in Manhattan, N.Y. She moved to Georgia to work for a fortune 500 company in the early 1980s.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Goodwin; mother, Naomi (Mickens) Smith, formerly of Buchanan Street and now in Providence Care Center, Sandusky; nine siblings, Ezell Smith, Betty Simmons, Harold Dee Smith, Naomi Tyler, Nathaniel Smith, William J. Smith and Jackie P. Smith, all of Sandusky, and Irma Cheeks of New Jersey and Frances M. Copeland of Georgia; and other family including half siblings and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Dee Smith.
Services will be in Buford.
