I have known Kenny since 1993 when he did some roof work for me. I then hired him to work with me at Preferred Powder Coating in Port Clinton. Kenny was always an energetic and enthusiastic worker. I am really saddened to learn of his passing at such a young age. All my sympathies to his family!

Thank you SR and the Humane Society for trying to give these animals a chance. Your pictures are adorable and you people at the Humane Society do an excellent job. I hope more people will stop by and adopt one of these animals. You see, these creatures did not do anything wrong except be abandoned or abused by other PEOPLE and for that these creatures will be put to death. Sometimes people that are cruel or abuse animals should be required to endure some kind of shock treatment, like with a Taser.

I adopted an older cat from the Huron County Humane Society, she is now 11, and she is a wonderful cat. Please think about adopting and older cat, not only is it Free, it will give you a lot of joy. The older catz get forgotten, as everyone want a kitten. Older catz, are more mellow, and easier to live with. I have had both and prefer the older cat. Love them all, just prefer an older cat.

the shepherd/husky mix boys look EXACTLY like our dog we adopted from there a year ago. apparantly, someone needs to spay their moma dog. but as a testiment, our dog we adopted from the EC pound is the most loving, playful, cutest thing ever. He was well worth the $60 we paid for him.

If the county is in such a bind in regards to finances why doesn't the county institute a fee for cat licenses? There must be at least 100,000 cat in the county. At $15.00 a cat that's a cool $1,500,000 in additional fees. Do it before the state comes up with the idea.
