So, the weather is finally changing around to be cold enough to freeze the bay over and now we can have an Artic Ice Festival. I am all for any excuse to have a festival for the people to enjoy. I hope someone will make a sculpture of Al Gore to commemorate this Artic event. I am sure there must be a few Climate Change or Global Warming liberals out there to do this. It would be great! Then we can all throw snowballs at the sculpture. Dress warm folks, it is blizzardly.

lol-taxpayer...I would love to throw the first snowball..The festival should be called "Global Cooling"
downtown first
this would be a great time to bring back skating on the Bay.

In the Erie County & Erie Islands 1940-1957 edition it showed a picture of them having "The Ice Queen" crowned at this same event years ago. Who should be crowned the current "Ice Queen"? A certain former cop chief?

Oh, and the warming is going on on the other side of the world like mad. Penguins are dying off as mammoth glaciers are breaking off. All you right wingers just keep listening to loudmouth Limbaugh & have a fat day.

I don't know about you, but I listen to scientists...not Al Gore!

Global warming causes wide temperature swings, and creates instability in the atmosphere.
Some of the effects of climate change are that you can have 15 degrees on Friday morning, and 40 degrees on Saturday morning. The temperature is going up over 50 degrees today.
Temperatures have been below average the last three weeks and are expected to be above average for the next three. High of 15 degrees on Thursday, high of 50 degrees on Saturday.

Seems unstable to me, not unlike some of the comments posted below.
