Barbara A. Cotterill, 77, of Norwalk, died Sunday morning, January 7, 2007, at her home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Norwalk, to Elmer B. and Harriet E. ( Austin) Bell, now deceased, and was a lifelong Norwalk area resident. She was a member of Norwalk First United Methodist Church and Eagles Aerie 711 Auxiliary. She was a great supporter of Bronson Norwalk Conservation Club. She retired from Norwalk Bargain Center (Cooks & Rinks), and A&P Grocery Store in Norwalk. She enjoyed cross stitching, embroidery, bingo, reading, cooking and trying new recipes and buying gifts for her family.
She is survived by her son, Charles Cotterill IV of Norwalk; her daughters and son-in-law, Denise R. Ralston, of Monroeville and Julie A. and James Horvath of Collins, Ohio; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; her sisters and brother-in-law, Jeanette G. Adelman and Becky and Ben Fleming, all of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William T. Bell and Robert E. Bell.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Tuesday until services at 7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Inurnment will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will follow at Norwalk Bronson Conservation Club after inurnment service.
