Bonnie J. Young, 64, of Thomas Drive, Fremont, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1942, in Sandusky to Harrison H. and Eleanor L. (Meinert) Fisher. She married John R. Young on Feb. 25, 1978 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and he preceded her in death June 22, 2003. Bonnie served as a deputy clerk for Sandusky County Clerk of Courts, retiring in 2001 after many years of service. She was a 1960 graduate of Margaretta High School. She enjoyed boating and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Pamela S. (Marty) Wendt of Elmore, Ohio and Michael J. (Melanie) Hoelzer, Fremont, Ohio; mother, Eleanor L. Fisher of Clyde; stepchildren, Stephen G. (Diane) Young of Buda, Texas, Scott M. (Laurie) Young of Fremont, Cindy S. (Alton) Ayers of Sarasota, Fla., Stacie (Mike) Schaeffer, Lawrenceville, Ga. and Shelley R. (Jim) Henderson, Sarasota; brothers, Harrison H. Fisher Jr. of Doty, Wash., Thomas B. Fisher of New Haven, Ohio; sisters, Beverly J. Lundy of Fremont and Billie J. (Dennis) Loroff of Castalia; and sixteen grandchildren.
She was preceded by her father, Harrison H. Fisher; and husband, John R. Young.
Services were Saturday in Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Service, 425 E. State St., Fremont, with visitation prior. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
