David M. Terry, 58, of Catawba Island, went into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jan. 5, 2007.
He was born May 16, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of David W. and Delores (Clark) Terry. He worked at General Fabrications Corp. in Sandusky as a control systems engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton, where he was a Sunday school teacher, treasurer and usher. He enjoyed flower gardening, woodworking, landscaping and cooking.
Surviving are his mother, Delores; brother, Daniel (Louise) Terry of Catawba Island; sister, Debra (David) Morgan of Catawba Island; nine nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Marblehead. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. Monday until services at 11 a.m. in Grace Baptist Church, 4650 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road. The Rev. Peter Dodd will officiate.
