Robert J. Burdue, 38, of Norwalk, died Thursday morning, Jan. 4, 2007, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born July 6, 1968, in Sandusky and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1987 graduate of New London High School and was employed at Americraft Carton Company (Kerr Printing) in Norwalk for 21 years. He had also worked at Mid-Ohio Wines, Norwalk. He enjoyed genealogy, computers, music and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Karen S. (Gibson) Burdue, of Norwalk, whom he married Dec. 18, 1993; daughter, Cheyenne J. Burdue at home; his parents, Robert D. and Janet Burdue of Norwalk and Larry and Gertrude J. (Reiderman) Strimpfel of Franklin, Ohio; sister, Robin M. (Brian) Rinner of Monroeville; stepbrothers, Lauren (Brenda) Strimpfel of Hawaii, Steven (Heidi) Strimpfel of Springboro, Ohio, Christopher Strimpfel of Norwalk, Greg Strimpfel of Marblehead, Shawn Strimpfel of Cartersville, Ga., Steve (Hope) Braker of Norwalk and Darren Gibson of Norwalk; and stepsister, Steph (Jason Dalton) Braker-Dalton of Wakeman, Ohio.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk where services will be 2 p.m. Sunday.
