Donald E. Fosco, 77, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
He was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Willard, to James and Margaret (Windnagle) Fosco. He retired as director of supply operations at the former DCSC. He was U.S. Army Veteran of WW II, Master Mason at Ralph R. Rickly Lodge 670 F.&A.M., and a former director of Aladdin Shrine Circus. He was a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Shrine Temple, where he was an honorary clown, Aladdin Patrol Unit, Royal Order of Jesters, Court 8, and Reynoldsburg VFW Post 9473.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Don David Fosco and Ronald Earl Fosco, and parents.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty J. (Holler) Fosco; daughters, Cheryl Meseroll and Vicki (Bill) Harvey; son, Michael Fosco; grandchildren, Chrissy Leonard, Rick (Michele) Harvey, Ben (Kim) Harvey, Don Fosco, and Jeff Fosco; six great-grandchildren; brother, James (Mary) Fosco; and sisters, Mary Vassallo, Nancy Irwin, and Janet Cunningham.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, where Masonic Lodge 670 will hosts services at 7:30 p.m. Private inurnment will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg.
