Yvonne (Newsome) Renfro, 64, of Clyde, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, in University of Toledo Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Beaver, Ky., the daughter of Estel and Carrie (Webb) Newsome.
Yvonne was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors, playing with her grandkids and shopping. She was a woman with a heart of gold.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all, including her children, Angela (Glenn Ellis) Renfro of Oak Harbor, Paul (Kat) Renfro of Clyde, Missi (Ovid) Dearsman of Green Springs, Silas (Bobbie Jo Durst) Renfro of Clyde and Amber Forman of Clyde; grandchildren, Travis and Devin Dearsman of Green Springs, Windie and Willow Renfro of Clyde, Alicianah Sauseda of Clyde, Uriyah Renfro of Clyde, TJ and Noah Donnersbach of Clyde, Tyler Ellis of Oak Harbor; two brothers, James Tackett of Kentucky, Clines (Vonda) Newsome of Kentucky; and two sisters, Laura May Hamilton of Kentucky and Shirley Fogle of Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Renfro; and sister, Nancy Hall.
Friends will be received 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
